BBC’s Race Across the World is back on our screens – a race not about a speed, but about teamwork, strategy, trust and resourcefulness.
We can’t offer you the thrill of navigating “unfamiliar cultures and languages of far-flung destinations”. (Although it takes a good half hour to get to the Isle of Wight.)
What we can offer you, is teamwork, strategy, trust – and the thrill of blasting across the Solent in your own Rib with private skipper. A skipper who will get you places – places you might not have thought of visiting – and certainly not all in one day.

Even if you think you know the Solent and the towns on its shores, the challenges on the Rib Treasure Hunt i-Pad will make you realise that there is more to know. And just like Race Across the World – no phones allowed!
All coupled with the chance of taking in The Needles and Hurst Castle on one end, or maybe the four Napoleonic era Forts on the other, and in between the most wonderful collection of bays, creeks and landmarks.
Re-group and spend time with the other teams when you all make it to the “lunch checkpoint” – maybe aim to arrive second, and leave the first team to get the drinks in.
The final checkpoint of the day – the bar at the starting marina – and yes, in the Solent Rib Treasure Hunt, the winner takes it all!
Please call on 01590 674900 or email admin@solent-events.co.uk, to make your team “Race Across the Solent”.
