Lymington – the Home Berth for our Ribs and popular starting point for many of our events – is a port town on the Solent, in the New Forest district of Hampshire.
The New Forest is one of the South Coast’s most popular destinations thanks to its outstanding natural beauty. It is well known for its wild ponies, deer, free roaming pigs and cattle, and picturesque villages.
William the Conqueror created it as his new hunting ground in 1079 – his “Nova Foresta”. It became a National Park in 2005 in recognition of all the opportunities of enjoyment it brings to people.
With no shortage of things to do in the New Forest and fantastic venues to eat and stay, why not combine your outing on the water, with a visit to the Forest? Have us make arrangements for your company meeting in one of the New Forest Hotels – followed by taking you out on the beautiful Solent on yachts or our Ribs.
Please do call on 01590 674900 or email admin@solent-events.co.uk if you would like to explore the New Forest as well as the Solent!
